In August 2020 Educating for Good held its first and only virtual conference. We are so grateful for all our education friends who held space, shared space and tried something new. Who knew a three day, free conference focused on virtual circles of learning would be so well attended by folks from all around the globe? That first success launched us into many small projects supporting learning communities across New England and beyond. It was very Good work.
Six years later, we have found ourselves back at schools in full time capacities. Gary teaches teenagers in Maine, and I just started as an elementary principal in New Hampshire. While we won’t be doing any daytime consulting gigs, we are both very open to conversation, collaboration and thought partnership especially as we are now quite literally practicing what we preached for so many years.
We are going to keep this site up as a place to share stories and ideas related to our practical philosophies about school, learning and education. Afterall, we are both still Educating for Good; we hope you are too.
